Skid Steer and Compact Excavator Operator Certification (Virtual)
To determine if there is an available Evaluator in your area, CLICK HERE. The process to select your evaluator for the practical evaluation occurs upon successful completion of the virtual theory exam.
This virtual training allows students to obtain the necessary knowledge and skills required to operate skid steers and compact excavators safely. Upon successful completion of the virtual theory and final written exam, students must successfully complete the in-person hands-on practical evaluation for each piece of equipment, conducted by a qualified Sunbelt Rentals Certified Evaluator to receive operator certification.

- Conducting a pre-start inspection
- Conducting a workplace inspection
- Various types of equipment
- Safe operation
- Preventing accidents and identifying hazards in operation
