Hoisting and Rigging Training (Classroom)

This in-person training is suitable as a refresher for experienced operators or an introduction for new operators. Upon completion, participants will be able to demonstrate a general knowledge of principles relating to safe hoisting and rigging practices in the construction industry.
Topics Include:
- Crane hazards
- Crane operation
- Load calculations
- Inspection of lifting and hoisting devices
- Overview of knots & rope and overview of mobile & tower cranes
The training includes practical assessment as well as formal written evaluation.
