CND Scaffolding Safety Training (Classroom)
This in-person course teaches students how to safety erect and dismantle End Frame & X-Brace Scaffolds as per provincial regulations and standards.
Topics include:
- The purpose and uses of scaffolding
- Review of the Workplace Health & Safety Regulations made under Part 12 of the Nova Scotia OHS Act. Scaffolds, as well as the CSA Z797 standards “Codes of Practice for Scaffolds.
- Safety Regulations and hazards associated with erecting, stabilizing and dismantling.
- Inspection of scaffolds
- Hands on demonstrations
- Safety rules and regulations
